Abstract
Laparoscopic gastrectomy (LG) has been established as a minimally invasive procedure for the management of early-stage gastric cancer, and it has been acknowledged as the standard treatment option for clinical stage I gastric cancer patients as per the Japanese gastric cancer treatment guidelines (1).
