Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy: a safe minimally invasive option

Pancreatic cancer is the 4^th leading cause of death in the United States. Over 50,000 patients will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019 (1) but only a small percentage of these patients will be operable candidates. This is due to locally advanced or metastatic cancer at time of diagnosis.
